How To Smoke Weed Everyday And Stay Productive
The infamous lyric, “Smoke Weed Everyday” that was so eloquently delivered to us by the Dogfather himself (Snoop Dogg) in 1999 rang loud and clear throughout the stoner community. I remember when I was a “weed pup” this was almost my anthem as I literally smoked weed everyday.
Don’t get me wrong, I still smoke weed everyday, however I have also matured in my cannabis consumption and understanding that I no longer can act like a teenager with all the time in the world, I have to be productive to pay the bills and essentially lead an “adult life”. It took some time to understand how my body interacted with cannabis and how I could use it as a tool for productivity while still indulging in the wonders of one of my favorite plants; Cannabis!
In this article, I’m going to be giving out a few pointers on how you can stills “Smoke Weed Everyday” and stay productive throughout the day.
Know when to Smoke – Smoke Weed Everyday
We all love a good Wake N’ Bake, however, starting your day off with a spliff might not be the most productive thing you can do. For me personally, I found that by “not waking and baking” I was more productive overall throughout the rest of my day. This isn’t the case for everyone, since some people suffer from medical conditions and the Wake and Bake is essential for them to “be productive” and not to be plagued by medical ailments.
For me, who primarily consume cannabis for recreational purposes, this isn’t the case. Thus I simply waved my privilege of smoking weed first thing when I wake up and moved my first toke of the day to the end of the day, once I have finished all my important work.
Two things became apparent to me:
1. I was more productive throughout my day
2. My end of the day toke was similarly as epic as my wake and bake
You see, after not smoking weed all day and then finishing it off with a good dab, I was higher than I could imagine for a lot longer. This was the perfect remedy to disconnect from the stresses of the day and allowed me to enjoy cannabis a bit more.
Obviously this is a very personal assessment of using cannabis and can be different for other people, however if you’re sitting there wanting to be more productive, this might be a viable option for you.
Choose your weed strains wisely
If you do have access to a variety of strains (Indica, Sativa or Hybrids)…then knowing what to smoke throughout is key to staying productive. For the most part, if you are going to be smoking throughout the day, you want to get your hands on Sativa dominant strains as this will give you energy and clarity if consumed in the right amounts.
Try to stay away from Indica dominant strains as this typically induces a more ‘narcotic feeling’ after consuming. In other words, you’ll be more likely to sit on the couch and play video games or watch movies. So for productivity, keep up with Sativa strains.
At times, I only take a hit from my dab pen and leave it at that. I’m not “trying to get high” but rather wanting the cannabis to work as a “background program” in my body. This is what is effectively known as “micro-dosing”.
If you are going to smoke while you work, smoke a bit less than you usually do. Stop even before you “feel the effects” of cannabis. This way you’ll get enough weed in you to stimulate creativity while not affecting attention.
I for one, when I smoke to get high, rather like to play guitar or doodle or do something along the lines of “creativity”, as opposed to writing, managing teams and all those other activities. So for me, smoking enough to let cannabis do its magic without completely getting me zonked is key to staying productive.
Experimentation is Key
Now as I mentioned in this article – this is a personal assessment of how I smoke weed everyday while staying productive. However, since cannabis interacts with people differently, it is essential that you experiment with doses, times and strains. I can only show you what I have learned, but to make it personal…you have to experiment.
I am eager to know what you guys do to stay productive while smoking weed everyday. Why don’t you give the Weed’s Home community some pointers on how you are smoking weed everyday and staying productive?
It’s important to break the “lazy stoner” stereotype that has been etched into the subconscious of society through years of negative propaganda campaigns. I believe when more “stoners” step up and show how productive they can be while maintaining their habit of smoking cannabis. We can effectively break this negative perception of the cannabis user.
So let us know in the comment section exactly how you stay productive while you smoke weed everyday.
